Session 11 - The Village of Barovia The Gang is done with Death House... And good riddance to bad vibes. The morning sun desperately tries to pierce through the fog and the gang begins to see more of their surroundings. A valley opens up west of the foggy woods. A small village lay in the distance, and a river < flows as clear as a blue winter sky through the valley >. The gang heads toward the village. Beyond the village and above the fog, a large and evil-looking castle stretches into the sky, ominously surveying the land.  Map of Barovia, Partial The Village of Barovia <"Tall shapes loom out of the dense fog that surrounds everything. The muddy ground underfoot gives way to slick, wet cobblestones. The tall shapes become recognizable as village dwellings. The windows of each house stare out from pools of  blackness .   Black Bird Perch - Session 10 - Durst Manor pt. 7 - Super Weenie Hut Juniors Fighting the enormous baby-chonk Flesh Mound... The gang fights bravely against a monster that many would flee.   Walter, the Flesh Mound Sobprym the Bard  is still stuck in the Flesh Mound, and begins to attack it from within.  Bentham the Paladin  begins to pull at Sobprym's ankle to free him of the monster;  Ruckus the Ranger  leaps over to help.  Levo the Barbarian  swaps out the crossbow for his javelin.  Kyros the Wizard  casts Chromatic Orb and Fire Bolts from the opposite side of the chamber.  As the battle rages, the party slowly starts to realize what is happening. Finally...it becomes crystal-clear to Bentham: the monster is the baby Walter, transformed into this putrid mound of chonky flesh. Bentham realizes that the spirit of a murdered infant, unwanted by a parent, can incite a powerful curse upon its household, tormenting its kill...
