Session 9 - Durst Manor pt.6: Gimme My Baby (Bones) Back The Cultist Leaders' Master Bedroom And we're back! In the Cultist Leaders' master bedroom...Elizabeth Durst...is now a  Ghast .  (Ironically, the party is aghast because ghasts smell worse than ghouls.)  Elizabeth Durst - Ghast, Goes by "Karen" From the bed,  Bentham  cuts down Gustav Durst's dead hanging body and then swings at Mrs. Durst but misses. He also uses his Paladin ability "Protection" to help out  Levo , who stabs the Ghast with his javelin. She lashes out at Levo and hits him with her claw...luckily Levo made his Constitution saving throw, saving him from...?  Kyros , pops into the room and launches a cold Chromatic Orb. CRITICAL HIT! The orb hits Mrs. Durst directly in the face...causing 32 points of damage. She falls to her knees and is apparently frozen in place. The DM drops his jaw and considers retaliation. To finish the job,  Sobprym  runs in, jumps on the bed,...

  Session 8 - Durst Manor Pt. 5: HA HA THIS IS REALLY CALLED DEATH HOUSE ...Back in the Basement Dining Hall, fighting a handful of Ghouls... Dudes.  Dudes... Those  Ghouls  came at the party hard, especially the nimble one who burst into the room and jumped on the dining room table. Everybody looked delicious to him.  Bentham the Paladin  kept swinging his sword while blocking the door and put his shield to good use, but still took a hit.  Levo the Goliath  (Lonnie in absentia) got stabby with his javelin.  Kyros the Wizard  threw a Chromatic Orb of acid and turned a ghoul into an acidic (but still flesh-eating) hazard.  Ruckus the Ranger  gave up on the crossbow and double-daggered a ghoul.  Sobprym the Bard  let his silvered shortsword do the talking with great success.   Black Bird Perch - Session 7 - Durst Manor pt. 4 - Bones & Gricks & Ghouls OH MY! ...Back in the Basement Dungeon below Durst Manor... This dungeon is creepy. Old, dank earth floors are covered in centuries of dust. Lots of footprints are on the ground...none of them look new. The muffled sound of chanting permeates the otherwise quiet and dark dungeon.  Lancelot the Dog  is still with the party.   "rufh rifh rukfh" - Lancelot barks.  Y'all finish up searching the chests in the cultists' quarters; the last three chests contain: 1. A black leather eye patch with a carnelian (worth 50 gp) sewn into it 2. A n ivory hairbrush with  silver bristles (worth 25 gp) 3. A  silvered shortsword ( worth 110 gp) -- [the  Sobprym the Bard  grabbed this] NOTE: Silvered weapons can sometimes damage creatures that are resistant or immune to non-magical weapons.   Black Bird Perch - Session 6 - Durst Manor pt. 3: Six Demon Bag Durst Manor : Attic // The party just rested and Leveled Up in a room with Rose & Thorn's skeletons and their respective ghosts... After resting, the gang wakes feeling a bit refreshed (despite being in a creepy house and in a room with dead children). Actually, you feel pretty good and a bit more powerful...as if you drank from Egg Shen's "Six Demon Bag" containing Wind, Fire, and All That Kind of Thing. You notice this upgrade mostly via your new Level 2 abilities and these new PC tokens.  Bentham Locke, half-elf Paladin Kyros Glowbasher, human Wizard Levo Stonescourge, goliath Barbarian Ruckus Basta, half-elf Ranger Sobprym Moorgaj, dwarf Bard A few more details were made clear by Rose and Thorn They want you to help their baby brother Walter, who they fear is threatened by a monster in the basement  They want you to lay their bones to rest in the family crypts in the basement   Sobprym the Bard...

 Black Bird Perch - Session 5 - Durst Manor pt. 2: A Hard Day's Knight  Wel come back Black Bird Perchers!!! The fight with an empty suit of Animated Armor continues... Ugh. Animated armor. Amirite? There was some action, some swing-and-misses, and them some smiting. And then poof: gone. Crumpled armor. But not before Ruckus took a hard hit. 2/12 HP ain't bad when you have a Paladin "laying hands" (creep) or the Bard "singing" (perv). "That broom is definitely not gonna attack us" is a possible thought that may have occurred to one or more of you. But you were wrong, fucking SO wrong. That broom attacked like a boss. "Sweep with the fishes!" it yelled silently. Bentham smartly exited the closet, bringing Levo with him. Whew! Safe! Why is Ruckus still in the closet with the broom?  Nevertheless, the party prevailed and mopped up the floor with the broom.  The party continued exploring the 3rd floor of the manor... ...the Master Bedroom had...

Black Bird Perch - Session 3 - The Gang Hits the Road / Wolfs   The gang woke up in a creepy forest surrounded by fog.... Upon waking up and taking stock...no armor, no weapons, oh my!...the party notices that Levo has vanished without a trace. So no armor, no primary weapons, and no goliath barbarian to use as a meat shield.  Ruckus whipped out his big ol' doll sack and passed out the creepy dolls. They all briefly transformed before disappearing into thin air: Locke's doll's face turned gray and old, then more skeletal. The eyes blackened and sank into the head Ruckus's doll grew hair all over it's face and body, and fangs...and tried to bite Ruckus’ hand Kyros's doll glowed amber, then turned into a super bright light (almost daylight) Sobprym's doll's clothes changed into multi-color jester clothes...then fangs grow from it's mouth and its eyes glow red Is No Fun, Is No Blinsky! Indeed. The gang chose a path through the woods and eventually found...
